Karabo Mohasoane has gained strong experience in the Human Resource field over the past 11 years. She has strong experience in developing people solutions for business and for communities with extensive knowledge in developing strategic relationships to achieve success. She has also been involved in HR consulting for various projects.

She also does Consulting on HR and has had the opportunity to work on clients such as Transnet Internal Audit project as a Senior Human Capital Management Specialist; Anglo Platinum as a Senior HR Advisor and Project Manager; Sizwe Ntsaloba Gobodo as a Senior HR Advisor and Project Manager, Airports Company South Africa Facilitating Training on Disability Awareness and Advisory on Enterprise Development initiatives and many more reputable corporate clients providing strategic advisory services.

Her experience also includes maintaining large portfolio of projects and client relationships and managing and co-ordinating all staff, at multiple sites.

She has knowledge of the various Bargaining Councils. Her knowledge also extends to developing and implementing strike contingency plans.

She has skills in Managing of people and clients and this has resulted in her managing close to 300 placed staff and achieving revenue targets as set by the organisation whilst she was still employed at Transman, the largest privately owned labour broker in South Africa, which resulted in day to day job creation for the unemployed.

She also has skills in Designing Training solutions for clients and to address Skills Development needs, Enterprise Development, Business skills, Entrepreneur Development.

At the age of 18, she was selected amongst hundreds of high school girls in Gauteng to be part of the 25 school girls hat were part of the “Business Women of Tomorrow” initiative, an initiative Sponsored and Pioneered by the Business Women of South Africa. At the age of 22, she was featured in the “CEO” magazine under the article “Future leaders of tomorrow”

At the age of 26 in June 2014, she founded her Human Capital Consulting business called Barika Consulting and has grown and developed her organization which has large multinationals as clients and is growing from strength to strength and a dedicated team of specialists who focus on providing quality HR services to their clients.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Human Resources and Strategic Management and is currently completing her final year Masters in Business Administration at Regenesys Business School.
